From reading all the reviewS, I luckily ended up with the correct size -perfect for me - but smaller than expected - they should be huge. The maker of these is just way off on sizing.Female - height is 5'4, size 6/8/10 6 if I was teenager in "hottie" clothes...8 is regular fit, 10 is big but comfortable, 36B...usually get a large in pjs so they are baggy and comfortable even if they shrink. Have some clothes is sz 6 that are wearable but I am not a fan of skin tight looks.So I figure I would rather have these be way big than slightly small or even accurate for my size. I buy Small 2x DblWide and thought I would need to shrink them or be able to fit another person or 2 inside - based on the company sizing.WOW it fits perfect. WHAT?! Yes, fabulous, barely one size larger than necessary. NO POSSIBLE WAY ANOTHER PERSON CAN FIT IN THESE WITH ME. The height is fabulous, the elastic in the ankles is perfect, the feet are perfect (about an inch longer than my toes, with thick fluffy socks on-size 7.5 shoe)Arms are perfect in length and one size wider than mine (perfect)Crotch hangs lower than expected but the rest of the height is good and its comfy so its fine for me.Legs are perfect for me - length is absolutely perfect, not long, not short, accurate for a 5'4 person, wideness in the legs is perfect too - someone else might want them a bit smaller, because they are wide-but not double my leg, probably 1/4 more than my leg width.shoulders to top of thighs (trunk) - I love the sizing, its fabulously perfectly one size too big - but that means it is nowhere near the size it was supposed to be. I tried on my sz 6 jeans today after this footie fit me - just to make sure my size hasn't changed radically without me knowing. My 6 jeans fit fine and my sz 8 jeans were great but needed a belt. SOOOOOO this is crazy that I love these hootie footies in dbl wide 2x. Clearly dbl wide 2x=10/12 and the 12 is generous Even when I pull the stomach forward as much as possible, it doesn't look huge-its big for sure but no bigger than any of my other (different brand) hoodie footies which were bought in the correct size. I don't get it. I am thrilled beyond thrilled, totally in love with these and the size I got. And will get another pair just like it if I can.BUT buyer beware, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE SIZING IMO... either they vary widely within a size, are completely unreliable, or just flat out bad sizing - like made for the Asian market - something getting more and more common lately on Amazon. But I do everything I can to avoid anything made for the Asian market because they are so horrendously sized and often poorly made - the styles are great, until you get them. I am pretty sure these are made in china for American companies/sellers/market and not Asian clothes being sold here. Not to mention the American models - if there are heads on the people modeling the clothes, they are usually American market clothes or you can clearly see the model is not American and therefore know the sizing may be made for another market. Assuming this is American sizing, its just crazy.LUV the fabric more than anything on the planet - absolutely ridiculously wonderful!!! It may deserve 5 stars because it is so perfect for me - but based on what was advertised, it has to lose a star for sizing.
